AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 022, SERIES 2017, RELATING TO AN APPROPRIATION TO METRO PARKS FOR 2017 RIVERVIEW INDEPENDENCE FESTIVAL, BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT APPROPRIATED FROM DISTRICT 12 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FROM $5,000 TO $10,000

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: SECTION I of Ordinance No. 022, Series 2017 is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION I: The sum of $11,500 $16,500 $19,650 $24,650 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,000 $10,000 from District 12; $3,500 from District 14; $3,000 each from Districts 13, 14, 25; $1,000 each from Districts 15, 24; $750 from District 1; and $500 each from Districts 3, 7, 10, 21; and $200 each from Districts 4, 6; to Metro Parks for the 2017 Riverview Independence Festival.
SECTION II: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
