TITLE

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,638.08 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:  $8,319.04 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 20 AND 22; AND $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 23; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE FERN CREEK FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FOR AN ALL-TERRAIN RESPONSE VEHICLE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I:  The sum of $18,638.08 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner:  $8,319.04 each from Districts 20 and 22; and $2,000 from District 23; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Fern Creek Fire Protection District for an all-terrain response vehicle to address health and safety concerns and other emergencies within the 21^st Century Park System and surrounding areas.

SECTION II:  The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
