TITLE
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE IRISH HILL NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN UPDATE AND ADOPTING ITS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AS AN AMENDMENT TO THE CORNERSTONE 2020 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (CASE NOS. 17NEIGHPLAN1002 AND 17NEIGHPLAN1003) (AS AMENDED).

WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission held public hearings on July 6 and August 3, 2017 on approving the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update and approving an amendment to the Cornerstone 2020 Comprehensive Plan to incorporate the Plan's Executive Summary in Case Nos. 17NEIGHPLAN1002 and 17NEIGHPLAN1003; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update conforms to the adopted Guidelines and Policies of the Cornerstone 2020 Comprehensive Plan and the incorporation of the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update's Executive Summary into Cornerstone 2020 also conforms to the adopted Guidelines and Policies of the Cornerstone 2020 Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission and the recommendations of the Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case Nos. 17NEIGHPLAN1002 and 17NEIGHPLAN1003; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission approving the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update and approving an amendment to Cornerstone 2020 to incorporate the Executive Summary of the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update in Case Nos. 17NEIGHPLAN1002 and 17NEIGHPLAN1003, and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records, except that the "Historic Re-Use" Sub-Area would be more appropriately classified as the "High Intensity Re-Use" Sub-Area in both the...
