BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The amount sum of $5,005 $11,405 $13,205 is hereby appropriated from District 7 Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,005 from District 7; $750 each from Districts 16 and 25; $700 each from Districts 4 and 5; and $500 each from Districts 1, 2, 6, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, and 24;, $300 from District 17; and $250 each from Districts 10 and 14; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Educational Justice, Inc. for programming expenses associated with conducting academic assessments and capital expenditures associated with purchasing equipment to administer the assessments.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
