TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,976.50 FROM DISTRICT 2 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR OVERTIME EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING SECURITY FOR NEWBURG DAYS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $8,976.50 is hereby appropriated from District 2 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Louisville Metro Police Department for overtime expenses associated with providing security for Newburg Days.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
