AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A TOTAL OF $25,000 FROM THE FOLLOWING DISTRICT NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS: $3,125 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 1, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, AND 25; TO LOUISVILLE FORWARD, FOR THE SALARY OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION WITH THE SOUTHWEST DREAM TEAM TO SERVE AS A LIAISON WITH LOUISVILLE FORWARD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The total sum of $25,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,125 each from Districts 1, 3, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, and 25; to Louisville Forward, for the salary of an executive director position with the Southwest Dream Team to serve as a liaison with Louisville Forward.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
