TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $3,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 7 AND 16; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, to THE CITY OF INDIAN HILLS FOR THE TREE PLANTING PROGRAM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $6,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,000 each from Districts 7 and 16; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the City of Indian Hills for its Tree Planting Program, which will purchase thirty trees to help replenish the tree canopy in Indian Hills.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
