TITLE
AN AREA-WIDE ZONING CHANGE ORDINANCE AFFECTING 65 PARCELS IN THE IRISH HILL NEIGHBORHOOD AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 17AREA1001).

WHEREAS, The Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission on October 19, 2017 concerning zoning changes recommended by the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update (the "Plan") for the reasons and purposes stated in the Plan and as described in the staff reports and as shown on the maps and described in the testimony presented at the Commission's public hearing, and the Council has further considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 17AREA1001; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission for the zoning changes in Case No. 17AREA1001 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the zoning changes of the parcels being in Louisville Metro as described in the staff reports and as shown on the maps contained in the Commission's records in Case No. 17AREA1001 for the Irish Hill Neighborhood Plan Update, incorporated herein by this reference, are approved.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
