WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with The Beckham Bird Club to accept a $2,000 grant to help eradicate invasive plant species at the Jefferson Memorial Forest to provide favorable native bird habitat.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
