TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF 16,000 SQUARE FEET OF SPACE, WITH AN ANNUAL VALUE OF $112,000, FOR A TERM OF UP TO FIVE YEARS FROM TITAN RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT LOUISVILLE LLC TO BE USED BY THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Louisville Metro Police Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a donation of 16,000 square feet of office space, with an annual value of $112,000, for a maximum term of five years from Titan Research & Development Louisville LLC. The space will be used by the Louisville Metro Police Department for office space, warehouse storage, staging area, and for exercise, training and drills.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
