TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,800 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS BY APPROPRIATING $600 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 25, 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, AND 26, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE CENTER FOR WOMEN AND FAMILIES, INC. FOR SPONSORSHIP OF THE 2018 CELEBRATION OF SERVICE AND SURVIVAL.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $7,800 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds by apportioning $600 each from Districts 25, 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, and 26, through the Office of Management and Budget, to The Center for Women and Families, Inc. for sponsorship of the 2018 Celebration of Service and Survival.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
