WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept $950,000 of additional funding for the construction phase of the intersection realignment project at 18^th and Broadway.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
