WHEREAS, Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through Metro Animal Services.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a Best Friends Animal Society grant award totaling $33,000 supporting Behavior/Training Specialist expenses to be utilized by Metro Animal Services.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Resolution will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
