AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 053, SERIES 2018, RELATING TO AN APPROPRIATION TO KENTUCKY SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, INC. FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PERFORMANCES OF SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARKS, BY INCREASING THE AMOUNT APPROPRIATED FROM DISTRICT 9 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS FROM $1,000 TO $2,000.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: SECTION I of Ordinance No. 053, Series 2018 is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION I: The sum of $24,000 $26,000 $27,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $2,000 each from Districts 6, 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 17, and 23; $1,500 from District 20; $1,000 each from District 7 and 9; and $500 each from Districts 8, 13, 15, 21, and 25; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Inc. for costs associated with performances of Shakespeare in the Parks.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
