AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $8500 FROM DISTRICT 5; AND $1500 FROM DISTRICT 4; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO PORTLAND FESTIVAL, INC. FOR THE 2018 PORTLAND FESTIVAL.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $8,500 from District 5; and $1,500 from District 4; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Portland Festival, Inc. for 2018 Portland Festival.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
