BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The amount of $11,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 22 Neighborhood Development Funds to Brightside for the maintenance of four “Brightsites.”  The first Brightsite is located at Bardstown Road and Gene Snyder (I-265) and is to receive $3,000.  The second Brightsite is located at Triangle Park (intersection of Bardstown Road and Fern Creek Road) and is to receive $3,000.  The third Brightsite is located at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Hurstbourne Parkway and is to receive $3,000.  The fourth Brightsite is located at the intersection of Hurstbourne Parkway and Stoneybrook Road and is to receive $2,000. 

SECTION II:  The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
