TITLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SCHEDULE OF PENALTIES FOR CHAPTER 102 OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO TREES.

WHEREAS, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Code of Ordinances (“LMCO”) § 102.12(D), approved on December 14, 2017, requires the Louisville Metro Division of Community Forestry to “establish a schedule of penalties for specific violations within the parameters set forth in this ordinance, which schedule shall be approved by Metro Council, posted in the office of the Division, and published on the Division's website;” and
WHEREAS, pursuant to LMCO § 102.12(D), the Louisville Metro Division of Community Forestry has submitted a schedule to Metro Council for review and approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Metro Council approves the schedule of penalties attached hereto for violations to the provisions of LMCO Chapter 102.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
