AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $29,700 FROM DISTRICT 21 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO SOUTHWEST YOUTH SPORTS, INC. FOR OPERATING AND PROGRAMMING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH LOUISVILLE SELECT BOXING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $29,700 is hereby appropriated from the District 21 Neighborhood Development Funds through the Office of Management and Budget to Southwest Youth Sports, Inc. for operating and programming costs associated with Louisville Select Boxing.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
