AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,895 FROM DISTRICT 12 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE CLEANUP OF RIVERVIEW PARK DUE TO FLOODING DAMAGE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,895 is hereby appropriated from District 12 Neighborhood Development Funds; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Waterfront Development Corporation for expenses associated with the cleanup of Riverview Park due to flooding damage.
SECTION II: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
