AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $3,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 10 AND 4; AND $500 FROM DISTRICT 8; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO GERMANTOWN MISSION, INC., FOR OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE GERMAN-PARISTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $6,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,000 each from Districts 10 and 4; and $500 from District 8; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Germantown Mission, Inc., for operating expenses of the German-Paristown Neighborhood Center.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
