AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FAIRDALE VILLAGE CENTER NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN AND APPROVING ITS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AS AN AMENDMENT TO THE PLAN 2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (CASE NOS. 18NEIGHPLAN1005 & 18NEIGHPLAN1006).

WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission held a public hearing on December 6, 2018 on approving the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan and approving an amendment to the Plan 2040 Comprehensive Plan ("Plan 2040") to incorporate the Plan's Executive Summary in cases 18NEIGHPLAN1005 and 18NEIGHPLAN1006; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan conforms to the adopted Guidelines and Policies of Plan 2040 and the incorporation of the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan's Executive Summary into Plan 2040 also conforms to the adopted Guidelines and Policies of the Plan 2040; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission and the recommendations of the Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case Nos. 18NEIGHPLAN1005 and 18NEIGHPLAN1006; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission approving the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan and approving an amendment to Plan 2040 to incorporate the Executive Summary of the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan in Case Nos. 18NEIGHPLAN1005 and 18NEIGHPLAN1006, and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records; and
WHEREAS, the Council further finds that the Fairdale Village Center Neighborhood Plan was developed with the significant participation of citizens of the Fairdale Village Center Neighbor...
