AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $46,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $28,000 FROM DISTRICT 23; $12,000 FROM DISTRICT 24; AND $6,000 FROM DISTRICT 13; TO METRO PARKS FOR THE 2019 FRIDAYFEST CONCERT SERIES AT HIGHVIEW PARK.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $46,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $28,000 from District 23; $12,000 from District 24; and $6,000 from District 13; to Metro Parks for the 2019 FridayFest Concert Series at Highview Park.
SECTION II: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
