AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 215, SERIES 2018 APPROPRIATING $11,324.19 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $3,774.73 FROM DISTRICTS 7, 16, AND 17 TO SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO FUND A COMMUNITY RECYCLING EVENT HELD AT BALLARD HIGH SCHOOL ON OCTOBER 6, 2018 TO A NEW TOTAL OF $22,252.35 WITH EACH OF THE AFOREMENTIONED DISTRICTS CONTRIBUTING THE NEW AMOUNT OF $7,417.45.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: The original sum of $11,324.19 is hereby increased to $22,252.35 and appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,774.73 from Districts 7, 16, and 17 is increased to a total of $7,417.45 for each of the aforementioned Districts to Solid Waste Management Services to fund a community recycling event held at Ballard High School on October 6, 2018.

SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
