A RESOLUTION INITIATING A REVIEW OF THE DECISION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A REVISED DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7504, 7506, 7508 BEULAH CHURCH ROAD IN LOUISVILLE METRO.

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 23, 2019 on a proposal to revise the District Development Plan for the property at 7504, 7506, and 7508 Beulah Church Road in Louisville Metro (19DEVPLAN1003), and the Commission on that same day by a vote of 4 For, 3 Opposed approved that revised development plan; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (“Council”) has the power and authority under the provisions of the Land Development Code, Section 11.7.5, to review and uphold, modify, or overturn that decision, and may place additional conditions or binding elements as it deems appropriate; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that such a review is warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Council hereby initiates a review of the May 23, 2019 decision of the Planning Commission to revise the District Development Plan for the property at 7504, 7506, and 7508 Beulah Church Road in Louisville Metro. The review of the information presented to the Planning Commission will be held by the Planning and Zoning Committee, with final action being taken within 60 days of the introduction of this resolution.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
