AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING FROM OR-3 OFFICE-RESIDENTIAL TO C-2 COMMERCIAL ON PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 13811 WICKHAM GREEN WAY, 13820 OLD HENRY ROAD, 2600 JAMES THORNTON WAY, AND 2401 TERRA CROSSING BOULEVARD CONTAINING A TOTAL OF 8.37 ACRES AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 18ZONE1055) (AS AMENDED).

                     WHEREAS, The Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the “Council”) has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission and the recommendations of the Planning Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 18ZONE1055; and

WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission for the zoning change in Case No. 18ZONE1055 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records, with an additional binding element.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:

 

                     SECTION I:                     That the zoning of the properties located at 13811 Wickham Green Way, 13820 Old Henry Road, 2600 James Thornton Way, and 2401 Terra Crossing Boulevard containing a total of 8.37 acres and being in Louisville Metro, as more particularly described in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 18ZONE1055, is hereby changed from OR-3 Office-Residential to C-2 Commercial; provided, however, said property shall be subject to the binding elements as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission in Case No. 18ZONE1055., with the addition of the following binding element:

The applicant shall install way-finding signage within the traffic circle on James Thornton Way and at the access points on Tract 1 on Wickham Green Way and James Thornton Way advising drivers of the lighted intersection at Bush Farm Road and encouraging eastbound traffic to use Bush Farm Road when exiting the site.

 

                     SECTION II:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
