WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission, as set forth in its minutes and records of Case No. 19PARK1000, has recommended to the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") that it approve a parking waiver for the NoRae Bar at 717 E. Market Street to reduce the minimum parking requirement from 10 to 1 because all streets near the area have abundant on-street parking available and there is a large public parking garage on the same block as this site; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission in Case No. 19PARK1000 and approves and accepts the recommendation of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: That the parking waiver for the property at 717 E. Market Street and being in Louisville Metro to reduce the minimum parking requirement from 10 to 1 is approved, as more particularly described in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 19PARK1000, on condition that the existing driveway on the front of the property be removed and the sidewalk restored to gain an additional on-street parking space as shown on the attached site plan.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
