AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES TO UPDATE THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR QUAIL CHASE GOLF COURSE (AS AMENDED).

WHEREAS, Metro Council recently amended Louisville Code of Ordinances (“LMCO”) § 42.43(E) to modify the fees charged at Louisville Metro-owned golf courses;
WHEREAS, Quail Chase golf course was inadvertently omitted from the earlier amendment because Quail Chase did not previously offer winter rates;
WHEREAS, Metro Council considers this emergency legislation because the next regularly scheduled meeting is not until February 6, 2020 and Quail Chase could be negatively affected by a four-week delay; and
WHEREAS, Metro Council hereby amends Chapter 42 to update Quail Chase Golf Course fees to provide for enhanced efficiencies in course management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: LMCO Chapter 42 is hereby amended to provide for categories of Quail Chase Golf Course fees as described and, specifically, Section 42.41(D)(2)(e) is amended as follows:
(e) Quail Chase Course.

SECTION II: The enactment of this Ordinance is deemed an emergency under Council Rule 7.01(a) because the next regularly scheduled meeting is not until February 6, 2020.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval.
