AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13,523 FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS OF DISTRICTS 16 AND 7, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE JEFFERSON COUNTY PUBLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. FOR PHASE 1 OF THE RUBBER SURFACING OF THE PLAYGROUND FOR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS AT NORTON ELEMENTARY LOCATED AT 8101 BROWNSBORO ROAD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $13,523 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds Districts 16 and 7, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation, Inc. for Phase 1 of the rubber surfacing of the playground for special needs students at Norton Elementary located at 8101 Brownsboro Road.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
