A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF THE SOCCER FIELDS LOCATED AT LOUISVILLE CHAMPIONS PARK AND ACREAGE OWNED BY METRO PARKS LOCATED ON LOWER RIVER ROAD BY LOUISVILLE CITY FC, LLC.

WHEREAS, Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (“Louisville Metro”) is in the process of entering into an agreement with Louisville City FC, LLC for the renovation and lease of the soccer fields located at Louisville Champions Park and acreage owned by Metro Parks located on Lower River Road; and
WHEREAS, Louisville Metro will receive benefits from the proposed improvements to be made to the soccer fields by Louisville City FC, LLC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That Louisville Metro hereby approves of the proposed use of a portion of the soccer fields at Champions Park (elevated field parcel east of Edith Lane) and acreage owned by Metro Parks located on Lower River Road by Louisville City FC, LLC and authorizes the Parks Department to effectuate all documents to accomplish this purpose.
SECTION II. This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
