RELATED TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 OPERATING BUDGET BY TRANSFERRING $500,000 TO THE JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE TO FUND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FIRING RANGE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I: Part I., Revenues and Funding Sources, of Ordinance 081, Series 2019 is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SECTION II: Part I., M. Other Elected Officials, 5. Other Statutory Obligations, of Ordinance No. 081, Series 2019, is hereby amended as follows:

Included in Section II. 5.a. above is $500,000 to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office to fund expenses associated with the firing range.

 

 

SECTION III:  The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

 

SECTION IV:  This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
