WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Criminal Justice Commission.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice to accept $1,200,000 supporting medically assisted substance abuse inmate treatments to be administered through the Criminal Justice Commission.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
