TITLE
A RESOLUTION INITIATING A REVIEW OF THE DECISION OF THE LANDMARKS COMMISSION DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 100 DISTILLERY COMMONS IN LOUISVILLE METRO AS A LOCAL LANDMARK. (AS AMENDED)

WHEREAS, the Landmarks Commission held public hearing on December 17, 2020 on a petition to designate the property at 100 Distillery Commons in Louisville Metro as a local landmark (20-LANDMARK-0003), and the Commission on December 17, 2020 by a vote of 8 For, 2 Opposed, 2 Absent, and 1 Abstention, approved that designation; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government ("Council") has the power and authority under Section 32.260(Q) of the Landmarks Ordinance to review and uphold, modify or overturn that designation; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds such a review is warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT ("COUNCIL") AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: The Council hereby initiates a review of the December 17, 2020 decision of the Landmarks Commission designating the property at 100 Distillery Commons in Louisville Metro as a local landmark. The review of the information presented to the Landmarks Commission will be held by the Planning and Zoning Committee which will set the date of the review at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
