RESOLUTION HONORING THE BRADLEY FAMILY BY DEDICATING THE CLIFTON HEIGHTS GREENWAY AS THE CLIFTON HEIGHTS BRADLEY GREENWAY IN RECOGNITION OF THE BRADLEY FAMILY’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT PARKS.

WHEREAS, residents of the Clifton Heights Neighborhood sought use of undeveloped land for a trail available to the public; and
WHEREAS, the Bradley family owned the property proposed to be converted to public use, known as the Clifton Heights Greenway, and supported its development as a greenway accessible to the public; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of these contributions to Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government Parks by the Bradley family, the community wishes to honor the Bradley family.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Pursuant to Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances § 39.033, and in recognition of the Bradley family’s contributions to Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government Parks, the Clifton Heights Greenway shall henceforth be designated the Clifton Heights Bradley Greenway. The Department of Metro Parks is directed, in conjunction with other necessary Metro Agencies, to move forward with the fabrication and installation of all necessary signage upon the passage of this Resolution and upon the receipt of all necessary funds to cover such expense.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
