BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                      The sum of $11,500 $14,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,500 from District 4; $1,000 each from Districts 9, 12, 13, 14, and 24; $750 from District 1; $500 each from Districts 1, 2, 6, 8, 10, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 25; $250 each from Districts 3,  and 5, and 7; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Coalition for the Homeless, Inc. for programming expenses associated with Project Stand Down.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:                      This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
