AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,590 FROM DISTRICT 7 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO PUBLIC WORKS TO PROVIDE LIGHTING ON THE SIDEWALK OF RUDY LANE TO INCREASE PEDESTRIAN SAFETY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,590 is hereby appropriated from District 7 Neighborhood Development Funds to Public Works to provide lighting on the sidewalk of Rudy Lane to increase pedestrian safety.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
