WHEREAS, based on a federal urban neighborhood mapping grant in the late 1970s, the boundary lines for what is more commonly known as the Original Highlands neighborhood is listed on the Louisville/Jefferson County Information Consortium ("LOJIC") system as the "Highlands Neighborhood;" and
WHEREAS, a copy of the neighborhood map showing the boundary lines of the "Highlands Neighborhood" in LOJIC is attached as Exhibit A to this Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the map for the Original Highlands neighborhood also is listed as the Highlands Neighborhood on the PVA website, even though that website recognizes a difference between the Original Highlands Neighborhood and the larger collection of neighborhoods in the area collectively commonly referred to as the "Highlands;" and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the listing of the Highlands Neighborhood on LOJIC, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson Metro Government (the "Council") adopted Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances ("LMCO") ??161.35-161.98 which allows for the maintenance and updating of neighborhood maps on LOJIC; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the enactment of LMCO ??161.35-161.98, other resources, such as Google Maps and the Property Valuation Administrator, also contain neighborhood maps; and
WHEREAS, on November 28, 2006, the Council adopted the Original Highlands Neighborhood Plan final report and executive summary pursuant to Ordinance No. 206, Series 2006 and Ordinance No. 207, Series 2006 (the "Neighborhood Plan Ordinances"); and
