As requested at the October 14 meeting by Co-Chair Jason Nemes, Commissioners have selected first, second and third choices of assignment to the three committees created by the Commission to review and prepare recommendations regarding
- gaps / adequacy / improvements needed to structure, authority of existing Jefferson governmental structures;
- tax powers and funding of Louisville Metro, suburban cities and special service districts;
- issues / concerns regarding which services and how responsibility is distributed between Metro Louisville, suburban cities and special districts; how providing services can be improved by changes within each entity and / or by statutory changes.
Commissioners will confirm assignments, schedules, etc.
