AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $2,500 FROM DISTRICT 21; AND $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 15; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO SOUTH LOUISVILLE COMMUNITY MINISTRIES, INC. FOR EVENT COSTS FOR THEIR ANNUAL FAMILIES HELPING FAMILIES FUNDRAISER EVENT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $4,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $2,500 from District 21; and $2,000 from District 15; through the Office of Management and Budget, to South Louisville Community Ministries, Inc. for event costs for their annual Families Helping Families fundraiser event.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
