AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $39,650 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $9,912.50 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 12, 13, 14, AND 25; TO METRO PARKS FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SOUTHWEST MUSIC SERIES to be held June 13, August 1, and September 12, 2026.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $39,650 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $9,912.50 each from Districts 12, 13, 14, and 25; to Metro Parks for costs associated with the Southwest Music Series to be held June 13, August 1, and September 12, 2026.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
