AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $175,000 FROM DISTRICT 7 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE CITY OF ST. MATTHEWS FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH INSTALLATION OF A PAVILION AT WARWICK PARK AND ASSOCIATED IMPROVEMENTS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $175,000 is hereby appropriated from District 7 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the City of St. Matthews for costs associated with installation of a pavilion and associated improvements at Warwick Park.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
