AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $19,250 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $9,625 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 8 AND 9; TO CODES AND REGULATIONS FOR GRAFFITI REMOVAL AS REPORTED OR IDENTIFIED BY THE HIGHLAND COMMERCE GUILD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $19,250 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $9,625 each from Districts 8 and 9; to Codes and Regulations for graffiti removal as reported or identified by the Highland Commerce Guild.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
