AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 13; $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 14; AND $500 FROM DISTRICT 12; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO CELEBRATE RECOVERY FAIRDALE CORPORATION FOR THE COST OF MEALS, TRANSPORTATION, AND PROGRAM EXPENSES FOR CELEBRATE RECOVERY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $10,000 from District 13; $2,000 from District 14; and $500 from District 12; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Celebrate Recovery Fairdale Corporation for the costs of meals, transportation, and program expenses for Celebrate Recovery.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
