TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $17,800 $16,200 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $6,800 $4,000 FROM DISTRICT 12; $2,400 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 17 AND 23; $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 9; $1,800 FROM DISTRICT 10; $1,600 FROM DISTRICT 24; $1,200 FROM DISTRICT 21; AND $800 FROM DISTRICT 6; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO COMMONWEALTH THEATER CENTER, INC TO VIRTUALLY STREAM “NATION IN CRISIS” TO SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT JEFFERSON COUNTY. (AS AMENDED)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $17,800 $16,200 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $6,800 $4,000 from District 12; $2,400 each from Districts 23 and 17; $2,000 from District 9; $1,800 from District 10; $1,600 from District 24; $1,200 from District 21; and $800 from District 6; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Commonwealth Theater Center, Inc. to virtually stream “Nation in Crises” to schools throughout Jefferson County.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
