A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018.

WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 67C103 (10), the Council adopted a set of legislative rules on January 6, 2003; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 67C103 (8), the Council enacted Sub-Section 3.01 of these rules; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined the necessity to reschedule various dates
of their 2018 regular meetings due to conflicts associated with Thanksgiving, Christmas and special events.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Council has rescheduled the following Council regular meeting dates in accordance with the attached schedule, consisting of one page for each month in the calendar year 2018, and marked "Attachment A" for identification:
a) From Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 6:00PM EDT to Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 4:00PM EDT
b) From Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:00PM EDT to Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 6:00PM EDT
c) No meeting on July 12, 2018
d) From Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 6:00PM EDT to Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 6:00 PM EDT
e) No meeting on December 27, 2018
SECTION II: All Council Committee meetings, as they are set forth on Attachment A, shall be considered regular meetings of such Committees.
SECTION III: The Metro Council hereby adopts the 2018 Metro Council Calendar a copy of which is attached.
SECTION IV: This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
