BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The sum of $12,000$20,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,000 from District 26; $2,625 each from Districts 7 and 25; $2,000 each from Districts 25, 1, 6, 7, and 9, and 26,; $1,000 from District 15; $500 each from Districts 4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, and 24; and $250 each from Districts 5, 19, 20, 22, and 23;  through the Office of Management and Budget, to Friends of the Jefferson County Public Law Library, Inc. for costs associated with providing its Fresh Start Expungement Program.

SECTION II:  The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
