BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The sum of $5,000 $10,000 $15,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,000 from District 8; and $1,000 each from Districts 2, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, and 23, and 24; and $500 each from Districts 7 and 21, through the Office of Management and Budget, to Jewish Community of Louisville, Inc. for capital expenses to build a public playground at the Trager Family Jewish Community Center.

SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:  This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
