AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,500 IN DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR METRO PARK EVENTS IN DISTRICT 6 TO INCLUDE “JAZZ IN CENTRAL PARK,” “CALIFORNIA DAY,” PARKHILL INTERACTIVE VIDEO GAMES, AND WINTER HOLIDAY EVENTS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $12,500 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds, to Metro Parks Department for Metro Park Events in District 6 to include “Jazz in Central Park,” “California Day,” Parkhill Interactive Video Games, and Winter Holiday Events.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
