BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 $20,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $10,000 from District 7; $1,350 from District 3; $1,000 each from Districts 14, 16, and 22; $750 from District 24; $500 each from Districts 9, 17, 19, 20, and 21; $400 from District 23; and $250 each from Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 13, 18, and 25; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the SAR Foundation, Inc. for costs associated with Wreaths Across America.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
