AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $14,668.54 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $7,334.27 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 2 AND 5; TO THE OFFICE OF SOCIAL SERVICES FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH CREDIT TO LOUISVILLE GAS & ELECTRIC ON BEHALF OF ELDERSERVE, INC.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $14,668.54 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $7,334.27 each from Districts 2 and 5; to the Office of Social Services for costs associated with credit to Louisville Gas & Electric on behalf of Elderserve, Inc.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
