TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,000 FROM DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO I WOULD RATHER BE READING FOR ASSISTANCE WITH A NON-TRADITIONAL INSTRUCTION (NTI) FOR THE FAMILIES AND STUDENTS OF DISTRICT 6.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,000 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to I Would Rather Be Reading for assistance with a non-traditional instruction (NTI) for the families and students of District 6.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
